A Tourist Visa allows the foreigners/foreign residents to visit Pakistan for tourism purposes. If Pakistani citizens residing abroad do not possess NADRA NICOP, they will also be required to get visa before visiting Pakistan.
Pakistan Missions abroad are authorized to grant visit / tourist visa for three months validity and stay with double entry to foreigners.
Application Type:
You can apply for two types of visas online:
Entry: You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa.
Extension: You can apply for a visa extension if you possess a valid Pakistan visa and you are residing in Pakistan.
Eligibility
Entry Visa:
- Citizens of countries listed here are eligible to apply for:
- Visa category: Tourist/Visit, Sub-category: (Individual -Less than 3 months.)
- Citizens of countries listed here are eligible to apply for Visa Prior to Arrival (Tourist)
- Citizens of GCC countries do not require visa to enter Pakistan.
Visa Extension:
- Citizens of countries listed here are eligible to Apply for extension of Tourist/visit Visa:
- Multiple Entry Up-to 6 Months
- Multiple Entry More than 6 Months

Duration and Validity:

- Single Entry for duration up to 3 months
Visa Extension:
- Multiple entry up-to 6 months
- Multiple entry more than 6 months
In case of extension, please make sure that you have a valid Pakistani Visa and are residing in Pakistan as well.
Processing Time:
Issuance of Visa is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan.
Tentative processing time:
- Entry (Individual up-to 3 Months) : 7-10 days (Working Days)
- Extension (Multiple entry up-to 6 Months) : 7-10 days (Working Days)
- Extension (Multiple entry Greater than 6 Months) : 4 Weeks (Working days)
