Registration as British Citizen having different types of British Nationalities

You may be eligible to apply to ‘register’ as a British citizen if you have British nationality.

There’s one way to apply for people with most types of British nationality.

You cannot apply this way if you are a citizen or national of another country, or a British-overseas territories citizen.

There’s a different way to apply if you’re a British national:

  • you’ve lived in the UK for 5 years
  • you’ve worked as a Crown servant (for example in the diplomatic service, overseas civil service or armed forces)
  • you have a connection with Gibraltar
  • you’ve lived in Hong Kong

There are different ways to apply for British citizenship (or ‘Naturalization’) based on your circumstances. It is quite complex to accurately assess/determine your eligibility due to complexity and closest resemblance of British Citizenship Laws and regulations and you cannot take risk to wrongly interpret the law and requirements. It requires the professional consultation to adjudge your suitability according to the laws and requirements. It is mandatory to engage an Immigration Lawyer to do this for your, so let them do on your behalf for success. Our Immigration Lawyer has conducted suchlike case(s) and have proven track record of successful outcome.
